Chrissie is the owner and operator of Comfy Cat Tails Pet Sitting, bringing over a decade of experience in the animal care field. A passionate animal lover and Feline Behaviour & Psychology graduate (with distinction), Chrissie treats every pet as if they were her own. With three beloved cats at home and plans to expand her family of fur babies, she is dedicated to creating a calm and stress-free experience for pets and their owners.

My Story

Hi, I’m Chrissie, the proud owner and operator of Comfy Cat Tails Pet Sitting! For over 10 years, I’ve been caring for animals professionally, combining my lifelong love for pets with hands-on experience in the animal care field. My journey started in school, where I first began working with animals, and over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of walking and sitting for hundreds of beloved pets.

At home, I’ve cared for pets with special medical needs, and their memory still holds a special place in my heart. Today, I’m the proud owner of three cats (and always hoping for more!) who inspire my commitment to treating every animal with the same love and care I’d give my own.

Beyond pet sitting, I’ve completed my degree in Feline Behaviour & Psychology with distinction and am also a Reiki Master. I’d like to offer Reiki services tailored specifically for cats in the future—ask me if you are interested!

I started Comfy Cat Tails Pet Sitting because I believe every pet deserves a calm, stress-free environment when their humans are away. Staying at home allows them to stick to their routines and feel safe and comfortable. While my main focus is on cats, I also care for rabbits, chinchillas, rats, hamsters, fish, and other small animals.

For dog owners, I recommend Thousand Island Pet Services, as my current dog client roster is full—I personally care for every pet in my care, ensuring they receive the best attention possible. At this time, I do not work with reptiles, arachnids, or amphibians, but I’m happy to discuss this during a consultation if needed.
